The Veermata Jijabai Bhosale Udyan, also known as the Byculla Zoo, is a zoo located in Byculla, Mumbai, India.
In 2016, the zoo received eight Humboldt penguins from Seoul, South Korea. These penguins are the first penguins to be brought to India. They are kept in a specially designed enclosure that is kept at a temperature of 16-18 degrees Celsius.
